Lungta translates from Tibetan as "Windhorse" -- "lung" is wind -- "ta" is horse. In Buddhism, it refers to the energy that arises when a practitioner brings the view of formal practice (the stability and clarity of mind that can occur during sitting meditation) to daily life. I kind of see it as a raw, blustery, bright spring day; or simply embracing the circumstances at hand with a light, strong grip, (like you would a tool or musical instrument). I've included a picture here of the windhorse from Tibetan prayer flags, on its back it carries a wish-fulfilling jewel.
